Sending Text and Video messages is a common practice for WhatsApp users. However, many are still confused about how to send documents in several formats such as PDF, typed in Office Docx, Xlsx, pptx and many others.
The menu for sending documents on WA is indeed hidden, it's different when you want to send videos or pictures from the cellphone gallery where the menu icon is clearly visible at the bottom next to the text writing column.
For example, we have a PDF file and want to share it with our friends via WhatsApp, or want to send the typed file in Word in Docx format, Presentation file in pptx format, compressed files such as RAR or ZIP and others, can easily be sent from the WA application.
So, those who are used to using Email Applications such as GMAIL to send PDF, Word, Excel, Presentation, etc. documents, you can try to use WhatsApp because it is faster and easier.
How to Send PDF and Office Documents in WA
Check out the steps for sending document files, PDFs and other files using the WhatsApp application below.
Open the WA application and select the friend you want to send the document file to
On the message or chat page, select the menu in the form of a paper clips icon, located next to the camera icon
Then select the "Document" menu, find and select the PDF file or the one you want.
If so, just click the send button.
There are also other ways besides using the WA application interface as above, we can directly access the files we want to send, generally using the phone's default manager file, then select the share option and select the WhatsApp icon, then send as usual.
Maybe there is a question, why can't PDF, WORD, EXCEL, Presentation, RAR, ZIP or other files that we send can't be opened on smartphones by our friends?
If for example there is a DOCX format file sent, then the smartphone that wants to open it must also install an application that supports the file such as WPS Office, Ms-Office, Free-Office and so on.
Likewise, to open RAR or ZIP format files, for example, on a smartphone you must also install applications that support that format, such as the WinRAR, Unrar, Open-ZIP applications and many similar applications on the play store.
Thus a brief discussion on tips for sharing or sending document files from the WA application that the admin can share, hopefully this is useful.
